Jason L. Poulson is a member of the Real Estate and Commercial Finance Sections at Watkins & Eager. Jason represents developers in all phases of the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of commercial properties, with an emphasis on Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. He also regularly represents borrowers with loans involving the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD/FHA loan programs. Additionally, Jason represents various types of financial service providers with respect to the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of real estate, construction, and asset-backed loans, including loans for projects utilizing Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.

- Represented developer on joint-venture involving the acquisition, development and sale of 49 build-to-suit retail and office projects
- Represented developer on acquisition, development, leasing and sale of $200,000,000, mixed-use, new urbanism commercial, hotel, retail and residential development
- Represented borrower on $7,000,000+ refinance loan insured by the Department of Housing and Urban Development under Section 223(a)(7) of the National Housing Act
- Represented client on development of a $35,000,000+ mixed-use multi-family and retail project, utilizing combination of private equity and traditional financing
- Represented developer on acquisition and development of $20,000,000 mixed-use rehabilitation project utilizing state and federal historic tax credits
- Represented hotel developer on the development of 250 room, luxury hotel project valued at $50,000,000+
- Represented regional bank on $19,000,000+ acquisition and development loan for the construction of 175+ unit multi-family development
- Represented national bank on $85,000,000+ loan for acquisition and development of 225+ unit luxury condominium and townhome development
