Watkins & Eager is pleased to announce Keith W. Turner has joined the firm as a Member. Keith practices in the area of Environmental Law and is recognized by Chambers USA-America's Leading Lawyers for Business in the field of Environmental Law. Prior to beginning his law practice, Keith served as an environmental consultant with over ten years of experience working with clients on water, air, hazardous waste and groundwater remediation matters. His practice area includes real estate development issues, compliance, enforcement defense, corrective actions, and legal issues involving the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act; the Resource, Conservation, and Recovery Act; and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act.
Keith serves on the Executive Committee of the Mississippi Bar's Section of Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental law, and is active with ASTM International, the Environmental Law Association, and the Environmental Law Institute. He is an adjunct professor at Mississippi College School of Law where he teaches Clean Water Act & Hazardous Waste Law and is a licensed geologist in the state of Tennessee
