Watkins & Eager is pleased to announce that Spencer M. Ritchie and Bailey R. Fair have joined the firm as Associates.
Prior to joining the firm, Spencer M. Ritchie, served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rhesa H. Barksdale, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Honorable Richard A. Schell, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Spencer is a 2010 graduate from The University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served as Associate Notes and Comments Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal and a member of the Moot Court Board. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Texas Tech University in 2002. Prior to studying law, Spencer served as Director of Legislative Affairs for the Associated Builders and Contractors and Legislative Assistant to United States Representative Sam Johnson of Texas. Spencer will practice in the areas of employment law and government relations.
Bailey R. Fair, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, received his Juris Doctorate from The University of Mississippi School of Law, cum laude, in 2012, where he served as Vice-Chairman of the Moot Court Board and was a member of the Order of Barristers. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Mississippi in 2009. Bailey will practice primarily in the area of general litigation.
