Watkins & Eager PLLC is pleased to announce the opening of an office in Birmingham, Alabama, effective September 7, 2017. The firm is also pleased to announce that H. Lanier Brown II, David L. Brown, Jr., and J. Patrick Strubel have joined the firm and will practice in the Birmingham office.
According to James J. Crongeyer, Jr., the firm's Managing Member, "the addition of these three experienced litigators expands and deepens the firm's existing areas of practice and enables Watkins & Eager to serve our clients around the Southeast."
Lanier Brown's litigation practice includes representation of nursing home operators and other health care providers, motor vehicle and other product manufacturers, construction firms, engineering firms, restaurant and hospitality operators, insurers, personal injury defendants and pharmaceutical and medical device clients. Lanier also represents parties in commercial litigation and business disputes. He earned his B.S. in Economics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.
David Brown's law practice includes automotive liability, product liability, professional liability, medical malpractice, pharmaceutical and medical device defense, employment litigation, and general insurance litigation defense. He has also tried general liability cases. David earned his B.A. from the University of Alabama and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Patrick Strubel's litigation practice includes product liability involving automobile manufacturers, recreational vehicle manufacturers, agricultural equipment manufacturers, pharmaceutical and medical device defense, and medical malpractice claims involving physicians, nursing facilities, hospitals, and pharmacies. Patrick also handles commercial litigation matters and premises liability and personal injury cases. He earned his B.S. from Birmingham-Southern College and his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
