Ashley C. Scarpetta has joined Watkins & Eager’s litigation practice in the firm’s Birmingham office.
Ashley comes to Watkins & Eager from a large, regional firm. Her practice will continue to focus on the areas of product liability, class action litigation, medical malpractice, transportation, insurance coverage, and other general liability cases.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville where she graduated cum laude in 2012. She received her Juris Doctorate from Samford University Cumberland School of Law in 2016. While in law school, Ashley served as Editor-in-Chief for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, the nation’s oldest law review dedicated exclusively to the art of trial advocacy.
She is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, Birmingham Legal Aid Society (Board Member), Birmingham Bar Association, Defense Research Institute (Young Lawyers and Women’s Sections Steering Committees), and Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (Young Lawyers’ Treasurer).
