William Ray, Corey Hinshaw, and Adam Gates recently attended and participated in the Mississippi Corporate Counsel Association’s Roundtable, an event focused on exploring the common professional and business interests of in-house counsel throughout Mississippi. Watkins & Eager helped sponsor the event, and Adam Gates moderated a panel of senior in-house counsel, which consisted of Joy Lambert Phillips (Sr. V.P., C.L.O., and Corp. Sec. of Hancock Whitney Bank), Tianna Raby (Asst. General Counsel at Entergy), and Chuck McBride (Sr. V.P. and General Counsel of Telapex/C Spire). The panel provided valuable insights and thoughtful comments on the challenging issues senior in-house counsel face every day.
The firm appreciates the time and effort that went into the panel members’ participation. We are also grateful to the Association’s leadership for facilitating the event and to Ingalls Shipbuilding and Julie Jarrell Gresham (V.P. and Chief Counsel for Ingalls) for hosting the event.
