Mildred Morris is one of the most experienced trial lawyers in the state of Mississippi, having tried dozens of cases in both bench and jury trials as lead counsel. Her diverse litigation practice has involved representing both corporate and individual clients in every phase of litigation. In addition to her first chair trial practice, she has argued appeals in both Mississippi Appellate courts as well as the United State Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. She has served on trial teams in which she has also been involved in motion practice and alternative dispute resolution. Her litigation experience spans numerous areas, including medical malpractice, healthcare, regulatory, and drug and medical device defense.
She has been honored with membership in the American College of Trial Lawyers, the American Board of Trial Advocates, as well as the Mississippi Bar Foundation. Ms. Morris has been named to Best Lawyers and has been listed as Best Lawyer of the Year in the field of medical malpractice defense. She has also been listed in The American Law Journal as having a top ten defense verdict in the United States. Ms. Morris is recognized by MidSouth Super Lawyers as one of the top 50 women lawyers and top 50 lawyers in Mississippi.
Ms. Morris is admitted to all state and federal courts in Mississippi as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
