Emily Tate was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2016 and joined Watkins & Eager in 2017.  Emily focuses her practice in the area of labor and employment law and litigation. She represents and defends employers in state and federal court litigation, and before administrative agencies.  Emily also routinely counsels clients concerning human resources administration matters, including review of employee policies and agreements, leave administration, and other personnel matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Emily served as law clerk to the Honorable David C. Bramlette, III of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. During law school, she was Casenote/Comment Editor of the Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board.
