Watkins & Eager is pleased to announce that Spencer J. Flatgard has joined the firm as Counsel. Spence has over twenty years of experience in public finance, public law and government affairs. He was appointed State Bond Attorney by Governors Phil Bryant and Haley Barbour to serve as the State of Mississippi's attorney in all public bond matters over the past fourteen years. In addition to public finance, he brings to the firm a wealth of experience in business law, elections, zoning and campaign finance. Spence has also served as U.S. Senator Roger Wicker's first Legislative Director and Appropriations Committee staff member.
